Neo is more than just a typical puppy. He is the definition of a baby house hippo. He is definitely still learning his body and that results in a lot of tumbles and bumps, but it does not slow him down. He is a lover boy! He constantly wants to be held and sometimes will whine until you pick him up. He snuggles more than any person or dog I’ve ever met. He likes to nuzzle into your neck area. He’s been trying VERY hard on potty training. He will whine when he has to poop, but he is still figuring out how to signal me when he has to pee. He needs reminders to eat and is VERY picky about what kind of treats he likes, but I’ve found success with the Zuke’s brand. He does not mind being in his crate, but we are still working on that. He loves toys, and his favorite ones are ropes and tugging toys. Squeaky toys will spook him, but then he’s ready to wrestle them. He needs lots of things to chew or he will find your wood furniture. Gentle reminders that he is not to bite furniture and he stops. He loves to snuggle with his favorite blanket.

He’s not a great photo taker because he does not sit still, but he is CUTE.

Update: Neo has been doing much better with the crate. He will whine/make noise and then is usually fine after a few minutes. Neo has continued to experience kids of all ages (newborn and up to 15) and does well with them, he has met declawed cats and understands a pat means they do not want to play, and he continues to meet dogs and is learning to navigate their cues on when it’s ok to play and when they are done. Neo has attended Puppy Yoga, meet and greets and been along to some shopping trips where he steals everyone’s hearts with his wrinkles and cuddles. He is very social and loves a good belly rub. Neo has learned to sit and wait patiently while his food and water are being put in place. He has done well signaling that he has to poo, but we are still working on when he needs to pee. This week Neo is staying with one of his littermates and has been enjoying this new experience too.

Meet the most adventurous, lovable, and downright adorable litter of puppies you’ll ever find! Adopting a newborn puppy from Fetch

At Fetch, we’re proud of the loving, healthy puppies born and raised in our care. We have raised more than 200 newborn puppies and counting, in addition to countless litters transferred to us when they were just days old. Each puppy receives round-the-clock attention, expert care, and a whole lot of love from the very start. Our team of volunteers work tirelessly to make sure they get everything they need, from socialization and basic training to regular veterinary visits. By the time our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes, they are well-prepared to join families and bring joy to their adopters’ lives.

Adopting a puppy from Fetch means you don’t have to go to a breeder to find a healthy, happy companion. Our puppies are raised to be adaptable, comfortable around people and other animals, and ready to embrace new experiences. We take time to observe each puppy’s unique personality, so when it’s time for them to join a new family, we make sure it’s the right fit. This individualized approach helps our puppies thrive in their new homes and brings joy to everyone involved. We have a select few foster homes that specialize in raising litters, and have each raised dozens of litters for our rescue. Having an experienced eye care for these puppies as they grow up is critical to their long-term success.

When you choose to adopt a puppy through Fetch, you’re not only welcoming a wonderful puppy into your family, but you’re also helping to save more lives. Each adoption frees up space and resources for other dogs who need our care, allowing us to help more animals find loving homes. Adopting a puppy from Fetch Wisconsin Rescue gives you a lifelong companion and supports our mission to save lives—one pup at a time.
