PUPDATE 2
Zema is an independent player, she just picks a toy and throws it around and chases it herself. When she plays with us, her preferred game is tug-a-war, fetch and hide and go seek. She is very food driven and will stare at you when you are cooking. She knows the word no, and usually stops whatever behavior she is doing. We are still working on other commands like sit, shake, and down. At the moment, she only listens to those commands when she wants too. Zema is a big chewer, she usually settles down with a toy and just chews on it. However, we have caught her trying to steal socks before, but once we say no, she always drops them and moves on. Zema also uses you to stretch (which is the cutest thing), she will jump up on you and then stretch. Also, she stands on her back legs a lot and uses her front paws to grab a lot. She has a lot of personality!
PUPDATE 1
Zema's day is full of playtime, walks, and long naps. She usually wakes up around 7 am and is ready for bed at 10pm.
She adores people! Zema absolutely wants to meet people and be petted on our walks. She has not had no exposure to children or cats. She tends to play bite so young kids might be tricky.
Zema is a high energy pup that requires a lot of playtime/walks throughout the day. She loves going for walks and will usually tug on the leash to get to the next smell quickly.
Zema has had no exposure to dogs inside of the home. However, she seems scared of the dogs we meet on our walks and has recently started barking at them. She will need continued practice with leash manners and intros to new dogs.
She will sometimes whine when you leave without her, especially if you go outside. However, when we come back, she is always napping on the couch.
Zema loves to cuddle when she figures out it is not playtime. She wants to be around her humans!
