Hello! My name is Shiner; however, I answer to Shine and "Hey don't eat that!" As I am so new to the Earth, I have enjoyed trying all the new things via mouth, but my foster parents told me that I don't need to. So, instead, I just like to carry things around and hold them as if they are mine, like the other day I kept a leaf for about an hour. I didn't eat it or hurt it, it was my new friend. Typically, we start the day between 6:00 am and 6:30 am. I get let out of my kennel and have zoomies around the room on my way to the backyard. The other doggos and I do our business and get a treat for being amazing. I then attempt to play tug, parkour wars, or fight a stuffed animal while I wait for breakfast to be served. Breakfast is between 7:30 and 8:00, but I have no issues eating earlier when needed. Immediately after breakfast, we take another potty break and then come back in. My foster mom works from home so I can play with tennis balls, stuffed toys, or chew toys during the day. At lunch, we take a walk with the other doggos in the house, and then much of my day is spent napping because being an honorary member of the neighborhood watch is hard work. I do really well with the resident doggo in the house, who is much bigger and older than me. We chase each other, and he has taught me a lot about being a good play pup. When foster dad gets home, we RUN around the house and celebrate because the way he plays is more fun than foster mom. Around 5:00/5:30, we have dinner and then play, do a puzzle, have a kong, or take another walk to get more energy out. When we get ready for bed, we make sure I go out before entering my kennel. I am a puppy, so I do better when I am kenneled at night or when my foster parents need to leave the house. I am potty trained, but I can have an accident if things get too exciting or if I am alone too long.

Basically, I am the best boy. I am the most snuggly puppy my foster parents have ever seen. I am the very talkative. I don’t bark, I merp. Little mumbles for no reason, sometimes while I am sleeping, other times when I am getting belly rubbed, and sometimes I am just talking to myself for no reason. I can be a little nervous, do you have any clue how BIG the world is?! The car is a little scary, not the ride but when we get to a new place and I have to get out of the car. When everyone encourages me, then I can get out on my own. Please remember, I don’t love loud noises. So I just need to know I am okay and safe. I love snuggling next to people or other animals. I don’t mind looking handsome in sweaters, snow is a strange fun thing, the outdoors are probably my favorite and as much as my foster mom tries…. I have no clue what Hogwarts house I am but I do look good in any color!
