Rider is an 18-week-old cattle dog mix (though with his sleek frame and expressive face, he might have some rat terrier charm in there, too!). This sweet, high-energy pup is looking for a forever family who’s ready to keep up with his curious mind and active lifestyle.
Rider loves people and gets along great with other dogs. He’s listed as cat-friendly. He’s crate trained, fully potty trained, and already knows how to sit for a treat like a pro. He’s also incredibly cuddly, eager to please, and very receptive to learning.
Rider thrives on routine and is used to long daily walks—clocking 7–8 miles a day! He’s still a puppy, so he needs close supervision on walks (he’ll try to chase anything that moves), and he’s very curious and mouthy, so continued training and redirection are important. His ideal home would include an active individual or family (kids welcome!) who can provide the structure, energy, and attention he needs.
