QUICK FACTS: ✔️ Good with other dogs! ✔️ Good with kids! ✔️ Potty trained! ✔️ Crate trained! ✔️ Good in the car! ✔️ Walks well on leash! ✔️ Could do well in an apartment! ✔️ Good for beginner dog owner!✔️Typical Puppy!

Link continues to be such a great puppy. He is a very quick learner and goes to the door when he needs to go out. Of course there have been a few accidents, but they tend to be when I'm not paying close enough attention. He already knows sit and paw, and we are starting to work on leave it, come, and down. He loves ALL the toys (especially balls and chews), and is very good at keeping himself entertained when our other dogs, or us humans, no longer want to play.

Link is still the typical puppy, playing hard, and then crashing even harder. He responds well to "no" and is easily corrected when shown what he can play with instead. While he hasn't been around a lot of small kids yet, I think he would do well with them, keeping in mind he is still a pup and can jump and sometimes be nippy. He has met teens and adults and is friendly in his approach and does not seem fearful at all. He mostly sleeps through the night, getting up only to go for a quick potty break, and then right back in his crate to sleep again. We are working on extending the amount of time he spends in the crate during the day, having spent time alone during the day for 4 hours. But, he is still learning and there are times when he is not so happy to be in there and would much prefer to be out with his friends (who wouldn't?).

Link also loves playing with our other dogs and is taking corrections from them well. We are working on reinforcing some leash skills to learn to walk a bit better with other dogs, but he is very treat motivated, so I think this is just a matter of finding the time to put into the training and he will be walking like a pro in no time! He loves to spend time outdoors exploring, and he has been doing very well on a long leash while doing this and has not attempted to run off, including just watching walkers (some even with dogs) just walk by, not attempting to chase or run after them.

Link has been such a fun, super sweet, cuddly pup! He gets to start puppy daycare this week which will help him grow into an even better pup with all that socializing and I can't wait to see what he learns there. This boy is ready for his forever home, and has so much love to give. Don't miss out on this puppy cuteness, get your app in for this good boy!
