Hi! My name is Lalani but my friends call me "Lala" for short. While I would love to snooze and snuggle with my foster parents, they put me in a crate with a soft cozy blanket where I sleep at night. In the morning, I like to stretch my legs outside right away before I come back in for breakfast. The remainder of the day I am either playing with my doggy fur siblings (I love dog dogs!!!!), snoozing on my Tempur-pedic dog bed (my mom says I'm spoiled, but I don't know what that means) or looking out the window watching the birdies and squirrels. When my mom and dad are gone, they put me back in my nighttime crate by throwing a treat in there and then I just quietly snooze while they are gone. I wish they would stay home with me, but I secretly like the extra snoozes. I get so excited when they come back home. When I go outside, they put this long string clipped to my collar, they told me it's called a leash but it doesn't bother me. It would be really great if I could have a great big yard for zoomies and plays. Boy oh boy would I love that.
My foster parents are so nice to me and I love them so much. But I was kind of scared of them when I first met them. Once they fed me treats though, I realized that I could trust them so I let them pet me and now I don't want to leave their side. When my parents introduce me to new people that don't live in our house, I get a little scared. I have so much love to give, but I just need some time to feel comfortable!
I have been around a 6-year-old, 3 year old and 18 month old children and they seemed to be busy with their toys so they mostly ignored me. They would give me lots of pets though and I really liked that.
I love to play with my doggy friends! When my parents have me outside, I want to chase after them but I am on a leash so it's hard, it would be great if I could have a yard that is fenced in so I can run around free. I have lots of energy for playtime, but I also love to snuggle up next to my parents or on my dog bed.
I have three doggy brothers and sisters in my foster home. I love them all, but just like humans it took me a bit to feel comfortable around them. After a few days, I started to realize that they are nice and now I play nonstop with both of them! My mom says that I am a submissive girl with bigger doggies, but I can keep up with them if they want to play hard and fast!
I also have two kitty brothers in my foster home. I am very interested in these little guys and sometimes I will bark at them - I mean, they just stand there and look at me all funny! I should probably go to a house where the cats have been around other doggies like myself. Otherwise I might scare them.
My parents don't typically leave the house but when they do they put me in my nighttime kennel. I just nap and am really quiet.
I can't wait to meet my future forever family!
