Adopted on January 23, 2021!
Truffle's schedule is: Potty, Train/Play, Potty, Crate, repeat.
He currently eats 3x a day and runs through this schedule about every 3-4 hours.
He has been great with all people but we like to think of quality of interaction for him, not the quantity of people he meets. I love when adult dogs are neutral (not overly excited by, or scared of) strangers so we have been aiming for that with him.
He has not met any children that I'm aware of. He is friendly, but would likely be bitey/jumpy, just because he doesn't know any better yet. He is still learning what is acceptable in a human world!
Truffle has just started learning to walk with a leash on. We typically play a little tug/fetch for about a half hour to an hour and then he'll pass out in his kennel for a few hours.
He has been exposed to lots of dogs and does really well with them. He is a little timid at first as they are all much bigger than him, but he is pretty good about reading the other dogs and not being a total pest if they aren't interested in him. Truffle has not met a cat in his foster home.
Truffle is crated when alone and does well. He would eat blankets and things out of boredom, so he only has his primo pad and a chew. He does cry a bit at first when left alone.
He's the sweetest boy ever!
