Steve is the epitome of exuberance and joy. He’s full of life and loves to stay active. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, or romping around in the yard, Steve is always up for an adventure. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he’s looking for a family who can keep up with his playful spirit and provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He sees kiddos the same as he does adults - sources of pets, treats, and in need of his enthusiastic face licking greetings; he’s gentle with all but could easily overwhelm younger children at this stage.
This intelligent boy is a quick learner and eager to please. He already knows some basic commands and would love to continue his training with a family who can offer consistency. With his sharp mind and energetic nature, Steve would excel in obedience training, agility courses, or any other fun activities that challenge him both physically and mentally.
With activity in the morning, evening, and preferably mid-day, Steve has no problem living a typical 9-5 workday life, hanging out calmly in his crate both when home alone and overnight.
Steve’s social and friendly nature makes him a great companion for families, including those with older children or other animals. He lives with multiple dogs and loves having a selection of playmates. He is more interested in the two dog savvy cats’ food than interacting with them. He loves making new friends and is always ready to play. His affectionate demeanor means he’s just as happy snuggling up for some quiet time as he is exploring the great outdoors.
Despite his energy and enthusiasm, Steve has a soft side and enjoys snuggle sessions and especially belly rubs. Indoors, he’s catching on quickly to being chill where he loves to relax with his humans and soak up all the love and attention. His loyal heart and loving personality make him a wonderful companion who will bring joy and warmth to any home.
