Putt Putt is my name stealing shoes is my game.

I promise to drop it when you bust me in the closet.

My sweet puppy eyes will make you give up your fries.

But really I am a sweet pea so come and meet me.

Putt Putt hails from Alabama and is here searching for his forever. He is proving to be a wonderful little dude. He has transitioned to his new home quite quickly. He is your typical puppy in that he has moments of joyful playing, conks out for a nap, then repeat throughout the day. He crates well and is excelling with potty training. Currently he sleeps crated in our room and sleeps from about 10pm to 6am. He has learned a few basic commands already. He sits easily. He knows to sit before he gets his food and he is working on being calm before he gets attention and sitting calmly before being let out of his crate. He seems to be a quick study when we are consistent with him.

During the day he is tethered when we work or need to contain him. He fusses for just a few minutes and then settles in for a nap. Putt Putt recently started going on walks and he is really enjoying exploring his new world. He is proving to be a confident pup that is happy to meet all dogs and people when we are out and about. Once he gets his puppy wiggles out he happily snoozes on the couch with us during the evening.

Putt Putt recently attended a Fetch fundraiser at a Mallards game and he did wonderful! He was curious with all the people, seemed un afraid of all the chaos around him and even happily met their mascot. He met many younger children at his Mallards game experience and did well with them too. He does have high energy puppy moments though and since his manners are a work in progress I would recommend supervision for the younger/smaller kids.

Putt Putt does have a dog sibling here and he does a great job trying to get her to play, but minding her cues when she doesn't engage. He also had the opportunity to meet cats when with a sitter for the day and showed little interest. I think he would love a dog sibling to share all his doggie joy with, but also has the confidence to be a solo pup as well.

Overall Putt Putt is a very happy well adjusted puppy that takes on new experiences with enthusiasm. Often times his tail wags so fast that his whole butt wiggles too. I think he would make a great addition to any family ready to take on your typical puppy training and snuggling needs.

Putt Putt will be adopted out with an addendum to his contract to be neutered at an appropriate age.
