Porkchop is a super sweet guy. His favorite things to do are to play with his foster sisters and then snuggle with his humans. He loves his foster parents and is frequently nearby to keep them company and get a passing ear scratch or pet. He is a little shy around new people, but warms up quickly.
Porkchop is a low-energy guy. He has an occasional burst of energy, but also spends much of his day lounging on the couch or patiently watching the people and dogs in his foster home.
He loves other dogs. He was pretty shy at first when we brought him home, but he lit up when he was able to meet his foster sisters. He also loves to greet and run the fence line with the neighbor dogs. Porkchop has not met a cat while in my care.
When left alone, Porkchop usually naps or watches out the window. While he will happily kennel up, he prefers the door to be left open as being closed in is stressful for him. We leave him out during the day while at work and at night and he does great napping and watching out the window when left unattended and has had no accidents and no destructive behavior.
Porkchop is such a great big guy!
