Hello, future pawrents! My name is Halie, and I'm a bundle of love and joy in a furry, four-legged package — once you’ve let me warm up to you.
Initially, I’m a shy, reserved girl. In no time though, I let my friendly, affectionate side show though. Whether it's playtime in the backyard or cozying up on the couch for some Netflix binge-watching, I'm your girl. I'm also a quick learner and eager to please, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze.
I haven’t yet met kids, but I’m a bit of a skittish girl, so my foster hoomans think young kids could be overwhelming to me. Older, more predictable kiddos? I would probably do just fine with! I do get along well with other dogs though, so if you have a furry friend already, that's a bonus!
I have a good balance of energy – I love to play and run around, but I'm also content to curl up and relax by your side. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood or a game of chase in the backyard, I'm up for it all. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'm an 11 when it comes to snuggling! I believe that every day should include plenty of cuddle time, and I'm more than happy to share the warmth and affection.
My previous foster let me sleep in bed with them. I loved that! The people I’m currently living with don’t let dogs in their bed, so I spend the night in my crate. I sleep all night! If I get bored though, I do like to announce my presence; I’m getting better at using my voice appropriately, but it’s also in my nature to be a bit of a talker, so shared walls where I need to spend most of the day home alone might not be the best fit for me.
Let's create a lifetime of memories together – I can't wait to be your loyal and loving companion. Adopting me means gaining a friend for life!
