✅ Good with people and other dogs.
✅ Grace is amazing in the car, she looks around for a bit then calmly lays down.
✅ The former adopter’s caretaker had nothing but good things to say about her. He checked on them daily and said Grace was always so happy and friendly.
✅ Grace had a couple acres to roam but stayed close to her people.
✅ She enjoyed her wire crate and beds throughout the house.
✅ She is the most easy-going couch hippo ever.
✅ She spends her time getting snuggles and going for walks, and she enjoys sleeping on her designated beds majority of the time.
✅ Grace is just an all around great girl.
Grace’s backstory:
Grace was pulled from an extreme neglect case beginning of this year; chained 24/7, malnourished, covered in fleas/ticks, zero love. She would have been a forgotten statistic without a Good Samaritan who reported her and the other dogs, we had to PUSH for something to be done. Thankfully all the dogs were seized, two left to Maine earlier this year, and Grace has been waiting her turn to get out of Texas.
After months in foster care, Grace was adopted locally and unfortunately lost her new mom to natural causes, of course we welcomed her back into the program. Thankfully a rescue in Wisconsin has decided to tag her and help her find her forever home.
She is the best dog and we can’t wait to see where this life takes her. She will be incredibly missed by all her foster mommies!
