Gordo is the ultimate super-cuddler! He loves to be petted by his humans, to lick them in return (if allowed) and to pack up against them in the bed or on the couch. He has been very friendly with most dogs he's met, and is interested in those we walk near on the street. If a dog barks at him, he will want to bark back, but training with redirection and moving him along quickly has been working well. He is still learning leash manners, but is very responsive to redirection and very trainable due to his strong desire to please his humans! He is friendly and respectful of our cat, only gently jealous when competing for lap space. He has not met any children yet. He is very well potty trained and can go 9 hours overnight without a potty break. He is crate trained, but prefers to free roam and sleep in the bed with us. He is a bit of a bed hog, but eventually settles near our feet. I think he would be pretty easily trainable to sleep in a dog bed in the bedroom if preferred. He has hardly barked since we've had him, so I think he would be appropriate for an apartment. He can start out a little shy, but with some time to warm up, Gordo is a delightful companion - friendly, loving and excited to explore the world with you!
