Updates
Congrats to Dillon on his adoption October 21, 2020!
Dillon wakes up at 7am to be let out of crate to go to bathroom on a leash as I live in an apartment. He is brought back in and given 1 cup of food. I put him back in the crate while I go to work. I’m home around 5 pm and let him out for a walk. Dinner is at 6 pm and bedtime happens around 10 pm.
He is well behaved with new humans and children (5 year old). The vet said he was very calm and very friendly to others.
Dillon tends to be a high energy puppy. He is not fully leash trained yet so a family will need to continue working on this.
He arrived from Texas and went to a sitter the first day. His sitter had 2 dogs and 1 cat and they said he was very well with them. Dillon’s current foster home does not have other animals.
Dillon tends to like being near his people in the home. He should not be left out and does best in a crate to avoid any chewing or potty accidents.
He is a very sweet dog and would make a person addition to a family that can give him good attention and love. I think it would be best for him to live in a house with a yard rather than an apartment like I do so he can get out more often and explore on his own.
