QUICK FACTS: ✔️ Good with other dogs! ✔️ Potty trained! ✔️ Crate trained! ✔️ Good in the car! ✔️ Okay running buddy ✔️ Walks okay on leash ✔️ Okay for beginner dog owner ❌ Separation Anxiety

✅ Settled into her TX foster home quickly!
✅ Likes her kennel; she usually gets a toy or snack in there and goes right in and is calm.
✅ Caught on quickly to the dog door - without one, foster recommends frequent potty breaks.
✅ Moderately barky - barks during play or when people walk by behind the fence.
✅ Amazing with other dogs and very submissive.  She loves to play!
✅ No experience with cats.
✅ She was around kids quite a bit and she was great!
✅ Described as cuddly and silly. She LOVES to snuggle and be around her people. She has a super cute head tilt!
✅ Loves to be outside and roll in the mud.
✅ Is used to being on furniture. Currently sleeps in bed with her foster or in her kennel.
✅ Loves to run and play, especially tug of war with toys or with other dogs - she is super dog friendly.
✅ Smart girl who already knows: Sit….should sit for food w/o command, No, stay (kind of). We make her sit and be calm before she gets fed.
✅ Moderate energy level; she is still quite young so she is playful but does settle really well. .Loves to run/play but takes good naps
✅ Said to be an absolute doll who LOVES to play with other dogs.  She would be a great dog for any family or person.  She would also be a good addition to someone that has another dog since she is SUPER dog friendly.

UPDATES

Canela is the sweetest pup you'll ever meet! Her typical day is going for several walks and maybe the dog park a couple times a week. She loves to run in the open! We think Canela would make a great hiking/walking/running buddy as she has gorgeous long legs. She loves her naps just as much as running and will gladly cozy up next to you for a snooze (several times a day). She loves her 12 lb foster sister and has learned to "be gentle" when they are playing. They love a good game of tug-o-war! She has not met cats or kids with us. As she doesn't realize her size probably older kids would be best. She has separation anxiety that needs work.

Canela is very well behaved and a quick "No" redirects her from anything she shouldn't be getting into. She takes treats gently and sits for her breakfast and dinner. Canela is potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps on our bed till lights out and then goes to her kennel for the night.
