Meet Cajun: Your Future Best Friend!

Are you looking for a loyal companion who loves to snuggle, play, and be active? Look no further! Cajun is a wonderful dog who is ready to find his forever home.

Personality: Cajun is a friendly and affectionate dog who just wants to be your best friend. He loves to cuddle and will happily rest his head on your shoulder. When he's not snuggling, he enjoys playing in the snow, hiking, and running. Cajun is very smart and would excel in various dog sports or training activities. With additional training, he could even become a therapy dog!

Living Situation: Cajun does well in a crate when left alone for a full day. He hangs out in the living room when I'm working from home. At night he sleeps peacefully in the living room with my dog.

Compatibility:

  • Kids: Cajun did great with 8 and 11-year-old nephews but may overwhelm younger kids due to his size and energy.

  • Cats: He has never been around cats but shows interest in chasing them. He probably should not live with cats.

  • Dogs: Cajun lives with a 9-year-old Pitbull and can live with other dogs, but he plays hard and loud, so a calm, non-reactive, probably female dog would be a good match.

Health: Cajun was diagnosed w/ a low thyroid and will need medication to control. He takes his thyroid pill easily with a bit of peanut butter. Cajun is on a limited ingredient diet due to allergies, likely to additives and preservatives but not prescription food. He has been successfully treated for heartworm.

Ideal Home: Cajun would thrive in an active home with someone who can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He needs an owner who can set boundaries and provide consistent training. He would do better in a home rather than an apartment.

Why Cajun? Cajun is a loving and loyal dog who will bring joy and companionship to your life. If you're looking for a dog who loves to cuddle, play, and be active, Cajun is the perfect match for you.
