Ace is such a beautiful boy with great manners. He loves playing with other dogs and receiving pets from people. He is active but very sweet and chill after some exercise.

Ace gets up between 7-7.30am and after some drive-by kisses runs outside to relieve himself. He then enthusiastically eats breakfast before reminding his humans that it’s time for an energetic morning walk. Throughout the day, Ace is let out a few more times, with another long walk taking place in the afternoon/evening. He retires to his crate between 9-10pm and sleeps through the night without any issues.

Ace is a young husky mix with ample energy and will require an active household. Having a generous and consistent exercise routine is essential to meet his mental and physical needs. This includes at least 1-2 hours of daily walks or other equal activities. If he’s able to explore and run off leash, especially with canine friends, he’s usually tuckered out more quickly!

In addition, Ace thrives at his daycare, which he currently attends twice a week. It not only provides him with an outlet for his energy, but also gives him access to other playmates to socialize with. Ace would be a fantastic fit for a multi-dog household. He has been fostered alongside other dogs and gotten along well with all of them. Ace is great at matching other dogs’ energy levels; he can roughhouse with the best of them but also understands when to be gentle or back off entirely.

While Ace instinctively understands how to meet and interact with new doggie friends, he’s a bit more apprehensive with human strangers, especially men. However, with calm introductions and some sniffs, this reluctance turns to interest and then affection pretty quickly.

Ace does not currently live in a household with children. However, he has met kids of many age groups on walks and at Fetch events. He’s always been gentle and curious during those controlled interactions. Given his sensitive nature, however, Ace would do best in a household with older children who are able to understand and respect his boundaries.

Ace is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and sensitive boy who wants nothing more than to be with his pack. After exhibiting some separation and crate anxiety, he received professional training to help him understand that crates aren’t scary and that humans always come back. Ace now enters his crate voluntarily, settling in with a peanut butter treat and waiting calmly until his humans return.

Ace’s favorite activities include sunbathing, refereeing squirrel fights, eating baby carrots, and getting all the cuddles. He’s the best boy and deserves all the love and attention of a forever pack.
